Beauties compete at Watercrest Mall

The Miss Upper Highway event was a success.

Forty-two beauties competed in The Miss Upper Highway event, hosted by Mrs KZN 2014/15, Salomé Nel Gouws, at the Watercrest Mall.

The first Miss Upper Highway pageant in 2014 had less than 20 entrants, but with double the entries this year, it is set to become an annual event.

The main title winners were:

Miss Upper Highway: Sharnelle Wagner.

Teen Miss Upper Highway: Renate Van Rooyen.

Pre-Teen Miss Upper Highway: Jenna O ‘ Brien

Junior Miss Upper Highway: Tamica Biggar

Little Miss Upper Highway: Holly Jansens

Miss Upper Highway Ambassador: Natalie Memory (Miss Upper Highway 2014)

“I would like to extend my gratitude to my wonderful team, all the sponsors, entrants and parents of entrants for a very successful event. I received numerous phone calls congratulating me and I am proud and grateful for how it all just fell into place,” said Gouws.
