The Under an African Sky calendar campaign for 2016 has kicked off with the stunning black and white Contrasts of Africa wall calendar, with all funds raised from the calendar being donated to CROW.
Each black and white photograph of South Africa’s treasured wildlife has been bordered and is logo-free so that the images can be framed after use. The A2 wall calendar is printed in matt on high quality paper and presented in a striking gift box.
The generosity of the sponsors, as well as businesses and individuals who purchase the calendar, has enabled Under an African Sky to raise R1.1-million for animal welfare, with over R750 000 being donated to CROW.
CROW has used the money to refurbish and expand its surgery units; employ an environmental education officer in CROW’s Educare Centre, as well as contribute towards the production and printing of the Educare Centre’s educational booklet and purchase of two vehicles to assist in the rescue of injured animals and, later, the release of these animals into their natural environments.
