Celebrate song and dance at Kearsney College

Kearsney College will celebrate the arts with two exciting events this August.

From Tuesday, 4 August to Thursday, 6 August, Dance@Kearsney will see vibrant dance groups from KZN schools celebrate dance by performing various styles. Participating schools include Kearsney College, Thomas More College, Epworth, Crawford, Maritzburg College, Glenwood, Carter High and Howick High.

The Dance@Kearsney festival is aimed at creating a platform for artistic talent in the province. The show starts at 7pm and ends at approximately 8.15pm (no interval).

Venue: Henderson Hall, Kearsney College. Tickets from Computicket or at the door – R20 for adults and R10 for pensioners and scholars.

Then on Friday, 7 August is Choral Collisions@Kearsney. The international award-winning Kearsney College Choir will share the stage with the visiting Eastern Areas Youth Chorale from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This will be a supper theatre format. Take your own food and beverages; a cash bar will also be available. Venue: Henderson Hall, Kearsney College. Doors open at 6pm and the performance starts at 7pm. Bookings are through Computicket.
