Ingram pleads guilty to animal abuse in Durban court

Dianne Ritchie/Ingram has pleaded to charges of animal cruelty in Durban.

Dianne Ritchie/Ingram pleaded guilty to 26 counts of animal cruelty in the Durban Regional Court on Thursday, 23 July.

Sentencing will be handed down on Thursday, 6 August.

In March this year in a separate case, Dianne Ritchie/Ingram pleaded guilty to 7 counts of animal cruelty in the Pinetown Magistrates Court. Dianne Ingram/Ritchie received a fine of R3000 per count, R21 000, half of which is suspended for 3 years subject to Dianne Ingram not being found guilty of the same offence.

Ingram was also found unfit to possess or be in charge of any animal for a period of 10 years.
