THE empowering and motivational Alpha Course will be hosted once again by the St Agnes’ Anglican Church, situated in Kloof. The free non-denominational Christian-based course is held over a 12-week period and meetings are hosted every Wednesday at the church. The introductory dinner will be held on 22 July.
Mike Browne, who has been involved with the Alpha Course for about eight years, said he is still amazed to see how many people have benefited in more ways than one from these uplifting sessions. Browne, together with Dave Romeril, leader of the course, said, “If you are looking for inspiration, guidance or want to meet and socialise with like-minded people, then we encourage you to attend the course.
“We received such a good response from our previous course and we invite anyone – irrespective of their faith and beliefs – to attend and enjoy these sessions. At the end of every evening meeting, a meal is included and participants also are afforded an opportunity to enjoy a weekend away with family and friends.”
