A PREGNANT Westville woman and her unborn child are lucky to be alive after she begged the two men who entered her home on Wednesday night to not harm her or her baby.
According to media reports, the woman, who is now considering relocating, said she was in her lounge when she heard her dogs barking. When she looked out the window she noticed one of the two men crawling through the garden. She screamed at him and ran into the bedroom, where she pressed the panic button.
The expectant mom, believed to be 26 years old, stated that when she walked back to check, she saw the two men open the kitchen door and start kicking down the security gate.
The men questioned the woman to find out where the plasma TV was, as well as her bag and cellphone. The men also removed a taser which she had in her possession and threatened to use it against her if she failed to co-operate.
After about five minutes the men escaped with the woman’s car. The report also mentioned that a month ago, a group of men had been waiting for the woman at her home, but she had been able to jump into her car and escape.
