GO!Durban will host a public meeting to update business-owners, residents and community members about the progress of the project at the Premier Hotel in Kings Road, Pinetown on Monday, 8 June from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The eThekwini Municipality’s Integrated Rapid Public Transport Network (IRPTN) is currently under construction along the first corridor from Bridge City to Pinetown CBD. There is major construction underway in Pinetown along Josiah Gumede Road, which is being rebuilt to allow for dedicated BRT (bus rapid transit) lanes and transfer stations for articulated buses that will use the route.
This construction has affected commuters, residents and businesses in the area, and management, infrastructure, logistics and project leaders of the GO!Durban development team will provide an update on progress and answer questions about the project.
