According to Megan Rencken, the company’s business development manager, the cause of the fire is being investigated. However, they do suspect that an electrical fault could have led to the blaze.

“It took two hours for the fire to be put off as there were flamable products in the factory. Fortunately, no one was injured, but they were treated for shock after their traumatic experience. The three offices were not affected by the fire, but the factory has been destroyed completely,” she said.

Rencken further added that the estimated value of the damage caused by the fire is worth millions of rands.
