11 children hurt in mini bus accident
Eleven children were treated for injuries sustained in a New Germany accident earlier today.
THE driver of a mini bus and 11 children were injured in an accident on Berkshire Road, New Germany, earlier today. According to Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, Santi Steinmann, the mini bus crashed through a fence and then a tree.
“Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that the adult driver and 11 children sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital,” added Steinmann.
Exact details surrounding the cause of the accident will be investigated further by police.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
