Westville police need your help

WESTVILLE police need assistance in identifying a man who was run over on the N3 east-bound.

KZN police spokesman, Col Jay Naicker, said police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed an accident which happened on Monday, 11 May at 7.40pm.

“A pedestrian was run over by several vehicles on the N3 east-bound, approximately 500m after the Westville off-ramp, and died on the scene. None of the drivers stopped to assist him. He was wearing a grey T- shirt and black trousers,” said Naicker.

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated by the Westville SAPS. Anyone who might have a missing relative is requested to come forward.

“It is the desire of the state to reunite the remains of the deceased with his family for a dignified burial,” he said.
