AN ex-Kloof resident (39) who was arrested for possession of child pornography was granted bail of R1 000.
The man was arrested in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday and appeared at the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The Pinetown Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit (FCS) arrested the man after investigations.
Police obtained obtained a warrant to search the man’s house in August last year and he was in possession of a memory stick with child pornography, containing images of children as young as three years old.
He will appear again in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 20 May.
