Sponsors tee off for charity

THE Jes Foord Foundation received a donation of about R75 000 thanks to Hughes Electrical, North Safety Products Africa and various sponsors that partnered to host a fundraising golf day. Hosted at the Kloof Country Club on Tuesday, the golf day provided the perfect platform for the respective role players to raise funds for the organisation.

The donation will be used for counselling sessions, conducted by Michelle Smith, at the foundation, as her contract with her previous sponsor has come to an end. Key accountant manager at North Safety Products, Julie Jordaan, said, “We are happy to be part of this initiative and we are pleased to know that we have contributed to the admirable work carried out by the Jes Foord Foundation, as it is a project we support.”
