New load shedding groups and times for the Highway area
During load shedding, customers are urged to switch off appliances to prevent overload trips which may result in extended outages.
THE Highway area is broken up into 10 groups which will be load shedded as of Tuesday 7 April.
Block 2: Atholl Heights, Berkshire Downs, Chiltern Hills, Clermont, New Germany, Pamiet, KwaDabeka Hostels, KwaDabeka, Wyebank.
Block 4: Ashley, Cowies Hill, Everton East, Farningham Ridge, Forest Hills South, Hagart Road Industrial, Hatton Estate, Kloof, Pinelands, Sarnia.
Block 5: Dawncrest.
Block 6: Klaarwater.
Block 8: Assagay North, Belvedere (Hillcrest), Botha’s Hill, Crestholme, Crestview, Everton, Forest Hills West, Hillcrest, Hillcrest Park, Hilldene, Molweni, Pinetown NU, Plantations, St Helier, Waterfall, West Riding, Winston Park.
Block 10: Berea West, Chesterville, Chiltern Hills West, Dawncliffe, Dawncrest West, Westville, Woodside.
Block 11: Field’s Hill, Manors, Pinetown West, The Wolds.
Block 14: Cato Crest, Chesterville East.
Block 19: Ashley North, Caversham Glen, Mariannhill Park, Mariannhill Industrial, Moseley Park, Paradise Valley, Pinetown South, Stockville, Westmead.
Block 24: KwaNdengezi, Mariannheights, Mariannhill, Mariannridge, New Germany Industrial Park, Pineside, Pinetown East, Pineview, Shongweni.
