SEVEN people were injured this morning when the bakkie they were travelling in veered off the road and rolled down an embankment in Fannin Road in Wyebank, Pinetown.
According to Chris Botha, media liaison officer for Netcare 911, five of the seven people sustained serious injuries. It was reported that the vehicle veered off the road, rolled down a 10-metre embankment and landed against a house.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and had to climb down the hill with their equipment to stabilise the injured. The patients were treated at the scene and were transported to hospital.
