Help find highway robbers

A Hillcrest resident needs help finding people who may assist her in a robbery case.

THE photos below that were taken three hours after a robbery in Hillcrest are the only clue that can lead the Assagay family from getting back their belongings and  in the apprehension of the robbers.

Assagay residents’ house was robbed on Saturday, 21 February. Two ipads, laptop, TV, a camera and jewellery were stolen.

A case was opened at Hillcrest Police Station. If you recognise the women in the picture please contact the police on 031 765 9116.

This is what the victim of the robbery had to say:

“Last month our home was robbed by two men in a mom van, our neighbor saw them loading our tv. They arrived at midday on a Saturday while we were out and took what
they wanted  . One of the items was my iPad. When I got my new iPad I did my
backup download from iCloud and found I had three photos taken off my old
iPad 3 hours after we were robbed. These women may not be involved in the
crime but they sure know the guys who were. The police said that the guys
were very experienced and knew what they were doing. They had something on
their hands that made it impossible to find finger prints. This is the only
lead we have to find these guys that have been terrorizing our
neighborhoods. Let me know if there is anything you can do. I feel like
these pictures came into my hands not only because they were silly enough to
take selfies before deleting my account but because it’s the only thing I
have the power to do something with.
