NQETHO taxi owner, Hlanganani David Ndlela (45) was shot and killed in his Toyota quantum at KwaNgcolosi area in Hillcrest.
Cst Ndumiso Manqele, Hillcrest SAPS communications officer said Ndlela was about to leave his home on Wednesday morning, at about 4am when he was shot several times in the chest, groin and also in his back.
“He sustained multiple gun shot wounds and died on the scene. It is alleged that a hand gun and a rifle was used and the motive of the killing is unknown at this stage,” said Manqele.
No one has been arrested and a case of murder was opened at Hillcrest SAPS.
