The much-anticipated opening of the new Watercrest Mall in Waterfall is due on 23 April, and residents of the upper Highway area are gearing up for a complete shift in their retail shopping experience.
The 45 000-square metre complex will cater for much of the community’s retail needs, offering around 120 shops, including SuperSpar, Checkers, Dischem, Woolworths, Game and Edgars, as well as some unique line store offerings, a food court and Ster Kinekor movie theatres.
This R700-million development is the brainchild of local family property business, The Rowles Group, and JSE-listed property fund, Acucap.
