Hillcrest High School's Angel Tea raised more than R22 000 for pupils at the school who are in need of financial assistance.

HILLCREST High School held its annual Angel Tea on Saturday, 7 March to raise funds for pupils within the school community that are in need of some financial assistance.

Two hundred and thirty women were treated to a morning of interesting short talks and demonstrations by representatives from the various cosmetic houses that were present. Each woman was treated to a gift pack brimming with samples.

This event was organised by pupils and teachers from the school’s Angel Fund Committee. Staff member, Mrs Sharmila Kowlesur, reported that an amount in excess of R22 000 was raised from this year’s event.

The committee thanked sponsor, Dischem, for their generous support as well as all those who attended for making this event such a success.
