Record number of schools support Kearsney art exhibition

There was good support for the exhibition.

A record number of KZN high schools entered this year’s Kearsney College’s Visual Arts exhibition, including seven Highway schools.

Fifteen schools submitted work, including Curro HCA, Hillcrest High, Kloof High, Thomas More, St Mary’s, Westville Boys’ High and Kearsney College from the Highway area; as well as Durban Girls’ College, Glenwood, Maris Stella, Danville, Northlands Girls’ High School, Maritzburg Christian School, Treverton and Scottburgh High School.

Now in its third year, the exhibition forms part of Culture@Kearsney and aims to reveal the remarkable creative talent amongst the youth in the province. Diversity is encouraged and works in any medium and size could be submitted.
