BotSoc presents a tranquil, riverside garden tour

Book now for the garden tour.

WETVILLE residents, Dave and Christine James, are transforming alien-infested grounds next to the Palmiet River into a tranquil haven, as part of the BotSoc Westville North’s project.

Paths lead to delightful resting areas with views of the pond, river and cliffs. Wonderful birdlife, water mongooses, dassies, and bushbuck may be seen. Dave and Christine will lead hour-long tours around their garden, starting promptly at 9am, 11am and 2pm on Sunday, 22 March.

Booking and pre-payment are essential: members pay R45 each, visitors pay R55 each and children under 12 years pay R25 each. Price includes tea and cake. Proceeds to branch projects. Take along your binoculars.

Numbers are limited to 20 people per tour. To book, please e-mail botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za, or phone 031 201 5111 (on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm) or 071 869 3693.
