Images of a fatal collision between what appears to be a small car and a tanker have been circulating on social media. The crash seems to have occured on the M7 east bound past Hans Dettman highway early Saturday morning.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident yet or the number of fatalities. Highway Mail will continue report as more details become available.
Traffic along the M7 seems to have been severely affected due to the crash, with the road closed off at Northdene as emergency workers continue with the clean up. Motorists are advised to avoid this route and re-route long the N2 north to Spaghetti Junction and use the N3 west.
