FIVE men were arrested on Friday morning for a house robbery that occurred in Winston Park.
Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Cst Ndumiso Manqele, said the Hillcrest Task Team, crime intelligence and Metro Police, led by Cpt Sifiso Xulu, conducted an operation in connection with house robbery that occurred in Winston Park.
“At around 1am police went to a house in Tshelimnyama, following information about these wanted robbers. Police arrested five men aged between 20 and 25,” said Manqele.
Stolen property, including a black Sony Playstation, controls and memory card worth more than R4 000 was recovered.
The five men will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
