Kloof High’s swimming champ excels

KLOOF High School has chosen Megan Van Wyk as the Spar Star of the Month following her excellent swimming achievements. Megan was recently placed fourth overall among all the SA swimmers participating in her category in the 2015 Midmar Mile. Last year, she won three medals at the SA Short Course Gala, was awarded a silver medal in the youth category of the Open Water Swimming Nationals, came eight in the Midmar Mile, made four finals at the SA National/Commonwealth Trials Gala, won six medals at the Level 3 National Gala and is a member of the KZN Junior Elite Squad. She represented South Africa at the U20 Youth Games in Zimbabwe in December 2014 and won five medals and also broke a games record in the 200IM.
