Children’s project promotes harmony

The FFL Children's Projects conducted a programme on interfaith harmony with Malvern's children.

FOOD for Life (FFL) Children’s Projects recently visited Arundle Road in Malvern. The Project team was met by 100 children in the Arundle Road playground.

As it was interfaith harmony week, the FFL Children’s Projects conducted a programme on this subject with the children.

The discussions focused on understanding and respect for one another’s culture as well as ways to promote and develop peace. Irene Steenkamp, a community leader in the area, said the children were overwhelmed by the experience and it was a good educational activity for them.

Chidren received party packs, juices, ice cream as well as soccer balls and school juice bottles.
