Centrum Guardians call for ‘hero’ nominations

The Centrum Guardian Project calls for 2015 nominations to showcase our nation’s multi-disciplinary and high-calibre Emergency and Rescue Services personnel.

THE Centrum Guardian Project offers the public an excellent platform to acknowledge those emergency and rescue services personnel who work passionately and tirelessly to save lives every day.

If you are reminded of that paramedic, fire fighter, lifesaver, South African police officer, emergency rescue crew, sea, mountain or off-road rescue volunteer who rescued you or someone you love, then this is an opportunity to say ‘thank you’.

To honour those who put other people’s lives ahead of their own Centrum is calling for 2015 nominations, and incidents can date back to January 2013. Anyone who has been involved in an incident, or knows of someone who has, is encouraged to nominate the Emergency and Rescue Service representative who helped them.

Deolinda Pereira, from the Centrum Guardian Project, said, “These are so often thankless jobs, so it is the intention of the Centrum Guardian Project to honour those who put other people’s lives ahead of their own, as well as turn their stories into dramatic, heart wrenching short films for all to see, share, support and be inspired by.”

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the website www.centrumguardian.com.
