Help Beep Beep find her owners

A Pinetown family is searching for the owners of a dog that they have been taking care off.

FOLLOWING numerous attempts to locate the owners of a dog that has been in their care since New Year’s eve, a Forest Hills family is appealing for any information that could assist in their search.

‘Beep Beep’, a cross breed, was found in the Crestholme area. Melanie Mallinge, who has been taking care of Beep Beep, believes the loud bangs caused by fireworks could have caused the dog to escape from his home.

“When we found Beep Beep we notified the SPCA and the local vets in our area. I called regularly to check if anyone had called to report a missing dog. She was not micro-chipped at the time, but now she has a microchip. She was also infested with ticks and fleas. If her owners decide to take her back, they must be able to guarantee that her fear will be taken into consideration and she will never again be left outside during electric storms or when fireworks are being let off, ” said Mallinge.

The family has also posted a picture and information about Beep Beep on social media but their attempts were unsuccessful. If you have any information about Beep Beep’s owners, or if you would like to give her a forever home, contact Melanie Mallinge on 083 738 0013.
