OPEN Strings in Kloof, in association with On Fire Comedy, will host one of SA’s funniest musical comedians, Deep Fried Man, on Sunday, 15 February at 2pm.
This highly-acclaimed, award-winning musical comedian blends folk, rap, parody and as many as six guitar chords into his own hilarious and sometimes controversial brand of musical satire.
In his first three years as a comedian, Deep Fried Man won a Comics’ Choice Award and has been nominated for three more, as well as made a host of television and film appearances.
He has performed on TV channel Comedy Central and is currently in his fourth season as a permanent cast member on the Emmy-nominated and Safta-winning satirical show – Late Nite News With Loyiso Gola.
Fresh, highly talented and undeniably funny, this guy is guaranteed to have you doubled over with laughter. Open Strings is situated at Villa Brae, 16 Jameson Terrace in Kloof. Doors open from 1pm.
