Police seek help in solving a murder case

Police are looking for a man who may be able to assist with a murder and attempted murder case which occurred at the Pinetown taxi rank in 2012.

PINETOWN detectives are looking for a man (pictured in the photo) who may be able to assist with a murder and attempted murder case related to an incident which occurred at the Pinetown taxi rank.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Lt Bongumusa Manqele, said it is alleged that two men were found with stab wounds at the taxi rank on 3 November, 2012.

“They were taken to hospital and one of them died the next day,” said Manqele.

Police are making an appeal to anyone that can assist with information regarding the whereabouts of the man in the photo to urgently contact the investigating officer, DWO Mjabulelwa Thabethe, on 078 362 4501, or Crimestop on 086 00 10 111.
