Local artists unite for a cleaner community

Lu Dlamini will appear in a free music concert in Sea View.

WORLD renowned singer, Lu Dlamini, has teamed up with numerous local artists to participate in a one of a kind music concert to be held in Sea View. The musical affair is one of many exciting initiatives by the Seaview Conservation Group, and will take place on Saturday, 31 January at the RMC church gardens on the intersection of Sarnia and Medway Roads from 1pm till 6pm. Entry is free.

Lu Dlamini, a singer and musician, has performed with superstars such as Brenda Fassie, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse and Mango Groove. She also performed overseas with Eric Clapton.

Lu has recently returned to South Africa and is now living in Sea View, where she has launched The Headroom Studio with veteran sound engineers, Marius Botha and Neil Snyman. Lu has recorded an album called ‘Jika Nelanga’ with internationally-famous Durban guitarist, Steve Newman.

There will be other local acts and attractions, so don’t miss this free music concert on Saturday, 31 January from 1pm, right here in Sea View. The organisers are grateful to the RMC church for offering the use of the garden for the concert. The church is demonstrating care and concern for the local community in many ways.
