UPDATE: Suspect arrested in Waterfall murder case
Police have a suspect in custody, and he will will appear in court on a charge of murder soon.
A man was arrested in connection with the suspected stabbing and murder at the Linkhills Shopping Centre last night. He is in custody and will appear in court soon on a charge of murder.
According to a post on the SA Community Crime Watch’s Facebook page, “The centre’s management has sounded their regret regarding the incident. The centre is back to normal and open for business as usual.
“We would like to thank everyone concerned for the assistance rendered last night, especially the centre security firm, First in Guards, and armed response from Secure Link for acting efficiently, and also the personnel from the emergency services and SAPS for the speedy arrest. Our condolences go out to the deceased man’s family and friends.”
