Man critical after Fisher Road shooting

A 27-year-old man is in a critical condition after a shooting incident on Fisher Road in Waterfall, KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday, 15 January.

ER24 paramedics said they arrived on scene and found the man lying on the pavement in a pool of blood.

“On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the neck and another to his buttocks.

“Paramedics began their treatment of the patient as well as providing him with advanced life support to stabilise his vital signs,” said ER24’s spokesman, Russel Meiring.

Once treated, he was transported to RK Kahn Hospital. Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
