VIDEO: Watch this Durban mom throw her kids out of burning apartment

A video of a Durban family’s daring escape from a burning apartment last week has surfaced on YouTube.

The nail-biting video purports to show a desperate mother toss her two young daughters out the window of their Mahatma Gandhi road apartment while a fire rages on inside, before jumping out herself .

Luckily for them a group of bystanders on the road below, who had stretched a blanket between them as a makeshift safety net, were ready to catch them.

According to a Daily News report, the children are two-year-old Kenaya Lokoka and her four-year-old sister Kerene.

Their mother Lilian Isoni reportedly leaped out of the burning apartment naked because she had been in the shower.
