Human skull found at Inanda Dam
Hillcrest SAPS is appealing to anyone who can assist them with information regarding the human skull which was found at the Inanda dam.
HILLCREST detectives are appealing to anyone who can assist them with information regarding a human skull was found at the Inanda dam, KwaNgcolosi area.
Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Cst Ndumiso Manqele said police received a call informing them about a human skull that was found.
“According to the information, the informer was called by children who were playing nearby the dam. They pointed out the human skull to the informer which was on the sand near the dam,” he said.
Police attended the scene and found the skull but could not distinguish whether it is a man or woman.
“The skull was then taken to the Pinetown Mortuary for forensic analysis,” said Manqele.
