BAIL was set at R250 000 for a former Durban drama teacher facing sex-related charges, at the Durban High Court earlier this week.
The man, who cannot be named until he pleads, faces 11 charges, which include possession of child pornography, procuring child pornography and the creation of child pornography.
The 48-year-old was arrested in August after child pornography was allegedly found on his laptop. Some of the content allegedly involved photos of boys, while there were also videos in which the teacher can be seen performing sexual acts.
According to reports, he missed the 3pm deadline to post bail.
