THE young woman who was gunned down at the Pavilion Shopping Centre yesterday has been identified as 25-year-old Sheree Branches.
It is alleged that Branches’s 27-year-old ex-boyfriend Zain Sheik, a constable at the KwaMashu SAPS, shot her and then himself inside the clothing store where she worked after a heated confrontation.
Sheik allegedly fired at least two shots at her before shooting himself in the head.
