Book your tickets for Kloof Junior Primary School's Shiver Me Timbers stage performance next week.

ARGH mateys! Climb aboard the Jolly Roger for a whirlwind adventure at Kloof Junior Primary School’s stage production of Shiver Me Timbers.

Captain Hook and his crew of fearsome pirates are on the lookout for treasure and sail to a variety of different lands for their next big haul of loot. From Candlyland and Postman Pat’s Island to the Land of Ice and Snow and Over the Rainbow, the crew of pirates will encounter an array of characters, from the penguins of Happy Feet, Elsa from Frozen and the motley group from the Wizard of Oz.

“Parents have been fantastic, from building the beautiful sets, painting the backdrops and sewing the magnificent costumes. Thanks must be given to Pierre Venter Maher and Corne Broderyk. I am very proud of what the pupils have achieved and for putting all of their effort into making it such a wonderful play as well as doing really well in the classrooms,” said Lyn Dobson, principal of Kloof Junior Primary School.

The play is about two hours long and the show starts at 6.30pm until next week Thursday. Tickets cost R40 each and are available from the school.
