Next of kin sought for Camperdown hit and run victim

Anyone who knows the identity of the deceased is asked to contact the police.

The Camperdown SAPS are searching for the relatives of a man who was involved in a hit and run on 7 July.

At around 7.15, police attended to an accident on the N3 freeway North Bound. On arrival they noticed the body of a man in his thirties lying next to the road.

“It is suspected that he was run over by a vehicle and it did not stop. He was found wearing black trousers with a white belt, black jacket, green shirt and black boots. It is suspected that the man is from the Umlazi area,” said Colonel Jay Naicker, spokesperson for SAPS.
