Thabani Mbatha (22), Scelo Nzama (22) and Nhlanhla Mkhize (21) of Chesterville, appeared at the Durban Magistrate’s Court on 14 August for the second time after being arrested on the M7 on 14 July.

The arrests come after numerous smash and grab incidents had been reported at both the Bellair and the Malvern police stations.
