Pinetown man attacked at a robot intersecton.

A MAN was robbed of his cell phone and money in Pinetown on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Lt Bongumusa Manqele, the victim (22) was driving along Old Main Road and Anderson Road.

“He stopped at the robots and was approached by three men.

“It is alleged that one of them put his head inside the car and pulled out car keys from the ignition while the second robber placed a knife on the victim’s neck.

“They allegedly took his cell phone and R400 from the victim before fleeing the scene on foot,” said Manqele.

The police are investigating a case of robbery and no arrests have been made yet.
