Kloof chiro supports Guardian Angel Project

A Kloof chiroprac is helping local, underprivileged crèches.

KLOOF chiropractor, Dr Bernd Hillermann, held an in house chiropractic opportunity week (COW), with the aim to promote spine and joint health while supporting the Footprint Foundation’s Guardian Angel Project.

“Throughout the last couple of weeks we have experienced amazing response from our customers towards this initiative. With their help and support we were able to purchase skipping ropes, tennis rackets and balls, hula hoops, crayons and colouring books to boost the children’s fine and gross motor skills,” said Genevieve De Haaff from Dr Hillermann’s office.

The Footprint Foundation supports a variety of crèches and learning centres in the Valley of the 1000 Hills and is running the Angel Guardian initiative that supports and supervises orphan guardianship in the KwaNyuswa Area.

Dr Hillermann and De Haaff visited the various crèches with Andrea Long from the Footprint Foundation to handover the collected donations. They were impressed with the Yenzanathi Crèche’s income generation vegetable garden project, that supports the crèche and the local community soup kitchen. This project was only started in March and is already harvesting its first crops.
