Cowies Hill residents vote without a hitch

You still have until 9pm tonight to cast your vote.

Zimele and Sibonelo Sibisi were two of the IEC officials who greeted the voters at the Cowies Hill Community Hall with cheery smiles.

HUNDREDS of residents made their way to the voting station at the Cowies Hill Community Hall this morning.

With a new procedure in place, voting was quicker and easier than before with many voters leaving the building exclaiming how efficient voting had become.

According to reports on social media site, Twitter, there were problems at Benjamin Pine Primary School.

The tweet, by @siphoomd, read: “Pinetown Benjamin Pine voting station, IEC officials awahlelekile, list with our names is not here,been standing in line for a long time!”

After the Highway mail investigated, it was found that there were no problems at the voting station at the school and everything was running smoothly.
