Voting stations listed for Upper Highway area

Here's a list of voting stations in Hillcrest and surrounding areas.

IF you live in the Upper Highway area, and want to know where you can cast your vote on election day, Wednesday 7 May, here’s a list of voting stations.

Plantations and Hilldene residents can vote at the Hillcrest Library Activities Room on Delamore Road, Hillcrest (Ward 10).

Hillcrest, Albina and Albany residents can vote at the Hillcrest High School on Ridge Road, Hillcrest (Ward 8).

Pinetown NU, Waterfall, Crestview and Crestholme residents can vote at the Waterfall Library on Link Road, Waterfall (Ward 9).

Botha’s Hill, Assagay and Phezulu residents can vote at the Botha’s Hills Tourism Office on Old Main Road in Botha’s Hill (Ward 8).

Alverstone, Peacvale and Summerveld residents can vote at the temporary voting station (Polo Pony Fields) on Assagay Raod, Assgay (Ward 3).

Drummond residents can vote at the Drummond Health Committee tent, on Lot 40, Old Main Road in Drummond (Ward 3).

Winston Park and St Helier residents can vote at the Winston Park Primary School on Jan Smuts Avenue, Winston Park (Ward 10).

Inchanga residents can vote at the Amazondi Store on Inchanga Drive in Inchanga (Ward 4).

Alternatively, you can SMS your ID number to 32810 to confirm your correct voting station. (SMS costs R1.)

In order to vote, you have to be 18 years and older, be a registered voter, have a green bar-coded South African ID document, have a new Smart ID card or have a temporary identity document and remember to vote at the correct voting station. Voting stations will be open from 7am to 9pm.
