HIJACKERS are on the prowl again in Pinetown, with two reports within 11 hours.
The first incident was reported around 9pm on Thursday 24 April. A silver Diahatso Siran with registration number, NPN 51570 was hijacked by three armed men from 7 Honeysuckle Place in Caversham Glen. The men were driving a white Polo Playa.
The second incident occurred at Circuit Road in Westmead around 7.30am today. The car stolen was a Ford Focus.
Both cases have been reported to the Pinetown SAPS.
Lt Justice Manqele, communications officer at Pinetown SAPS, is urging motorists to be more vigilant of suspicious vehicles following them to and from home.
“If you believe you are being followed, drive to the nearest police station,” said Manqele.
