Family offers reward for missing woman

A Hillary family is offering a reward for information on their family member who has been missing for the past seven years.

THE family of Rehani Esop Ali (41) of Fifth Street, Hillary has promised a cash reward to anyone who can help the police with the investigation into her disappearance.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Bongumusa Manqele said Rehani went missing on the night of 9 February 2007.

“It is alleged that she was last seen with her boyfriend Sateesh Isseri, a well-known businessman also known as Strini.

“The matter was reported at Bellair Police Station where Isseri told the police that they were together in his car when they were attacked by three men driving a white VW Polo in the Parlock area.

“It is alleged that these men assaulted Isseri and took his girlfriend with them. The family of the victim received information that the victim was murdered and her body was buried in Westmead, Pinetown.

“A case of murder was opened by the family at Bellair Police Station. The body of the victim was never found in the Westmead area,” said Manqele.
