A GOSPEL concert hosted by the youth department of Salt and Sunshine Ministries proved to be a huge success. Titled ‘Step Forward – The Grace Is On’, the concert was held on Friday 31 January at the Queensburgh Civic Centre and saw more than 200 young people and ten youth ministries from Phoenix, Newlands, Bonela, Seaview, Chatsworth and Queensburgh come under one roof to worship through song and dance. Organisers of the concert, Shaun Govender and Sebastian Naidoo, youth leaders at Salt and Sunshine Ministries said their main purpose was to network with surrounding Youth ministries, so that young people could be given a new platform to exercise their God-given gifts and talents through song, dance and drama. “Thanks to Senior Pastor Rajen Naidoo and leadership of Salt and Sunshine Ministries for the opportunity to host something of this magnitude,” said Sebastian. Salt and Sunshine Ministries is situated at 37 Main Road Malvern and holds a main sermon every Sunday at 8.30am.
