HILLCREST detectives are searching for Nqobile “Nqo” Khuzwayo who they believe will be able to assist them in the investigation of a murder which occurred on Monday 18 February last year in the Summerveld area.
Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Lt France Mkhize, said Nqo is wanted as a witness since she was present when the incident took place, but when the police arrived at the scene she had already left.
“Numerous attempts to find her proved unsuccessful. The investigating officer has on several occasions visited her home in Zakhiweni, Shongweni and her mother told him that Nqo disappeared shortly after the incident and no one has seen or heard from her ever since.
“Nqo is a crucial witness in this case and the court cannot proceed without her testimony,” said Mkhize
