Win with Imagine Durban

DURBAN Municipality is inviting you to win big prizes with Imagine Durban by entering the Green Map competition! All you have to do is suggest a site of cultural, environmental, heritage or community importance and you could stand a chance to win home hampers to the value of R2000.

Imagine Durban is looking for all those little gems within your neighbourhood to include on the eThekwini Green Map and showcase to the whole world. “The eThekwini Green Map is an online interactive mapping tool which displays sustainable features in our communities as well as places of cultural and social significance. It is a worldwide tool, that is used by numerous cities in the world,” said Bongumusa Zondo, Senior Manager, Imagine Durban. “Now that it is holiday season, it is time to explore eThekwini and discover new places with your families. We want to know if those places have impressed you and are deserving of a space on the eThekwini Green Map.”

Suggesting a site is easy. All you have to do is go to www.imaginedurban.org/greenmap, click on the ‘suggest a site’ tab and fill in the information which will subsequently be uploaded by eThekwini Green Map support staff for global interest. You are required to write a short description of the site and its features and you may also add pictures and comments.

Kindly note that suggested sites must be new, ie, not be profiled on the eThekwini Green Map already and must fall within the vicinity of eThekwini.
