Durban welcomes SMME Roadshow

Join the SMME Opportunity Roadshow in Durban to learn how to better your business.

THE second of the four highly commended SMME Opportunity Roadshows in South Africa will be heading to Durban on Tuesday, 26 July from 8am to 5pm at the Durban ICC. Small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in Durban and the wider KwaZulu-Natal Province are encouraged to register for free to attend this informative event which will help to reveal how putting a winning business model into place will create jobs, as well as improving employee skills.

The steady increase in petrol and food prices, as well as service delivery strikes, are a few of the reasons why entrepreneurial businesses battle. It is for this reason that they need some guidance from seasoned experts in the industry.

SMMEs who choose to participate will receive master classes in: The Fundamentals of Sustaining and Growing SMMEs, Enabling Funding for SMMEs and Scaling up SMMEs: The Future Growth Drivers of the South African Economy.

Businesses are encouraged to exhibit on the day and network during the break-away sessions. Lynette Ntuli, the founding director and chief executive at the property, assets and infrastructure development and solutions firm; Innate Investment Solutions (Pty) will be the Programme director for the day. Other people who have been invited to speak include the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ballitoville Strawberry Farm, Cappeny Estates, Xolani Gumede; Vice President of Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Claudette Sigamoney and Manager of the SMME Business Sector at South African Airways (SAA). Tshidi Mahlangu.
