Shongweni Farmer’s Market reopens

The market features authentic, artisanal food and drinks, fresh organic produce, homemade deli edibles, unique handmade crafts and incredible live performances from KZN’s most talented artists.

ALL Covid-19 protocols were in place as the Shongweni Farmer’s Market reopened on Saturday, July 24.

With sanitising stations positioned in various areas, mask wearing is also mandatory and the venue offers open spaces for people to enjoy the fresh air.

Come rain or shine, the market is open, as it is held undercover. People are also welcome to bring their dogs, and the venue is wheelchair-friendly.

There are many fun activities for kids including merry-go rounds, jungles gyms, mini train rides and pony rides.

The market is open every Saturday from 06:30 to 12:30.
