Glitz and glam reign supreme at Curro’s matric dance
Curro Hillcrest's matric learners enjoyed an evening out at their matric dance recently.
DESPITE the pouring rain, the Curro Hillcrest Grade 12 learners were all smiles at their Moroccan themed matric dance. Dressed to the nines, the couples arrived in hot rods, caravans tractors golf carts, swing on a trailer to convertibles. They were treated to a three-course meal, Moroccan style belly-dancers, a few speeches and then they headed off to Tiger Tiger for the after party. “It was such an enjoyable evening and it was so wonderful to see our matric learners all dressed up for the special occasion,” said the school’s marketing manager, Fiona Johnson.
